Merry Christmas to All.
It's nearly here, and we're hurtling our way towards the christmas season by way of
xmas parties and much eating and drinking. Heidi's parents are out for this year and
we'll be having a big family get together with the tasmanian branch of the family as well
for Christmas day.
We're still waiting for our new deck, the back yard is looking pretty good apart from the
big naked patch where the new deck and spa will be going.... wish the draftsman and
planning guy would hurry up and get the plans approved then we can get started.
The summer is shaping up to be hot and wet again, we've had some great days so far
as well as a LOT of rain. Last week we managed to get two months' worth of rain in one
day with just over 10mm in 24 hours. Hooray ! Christmas day is forecast to be hot and
sunny though which would be good.
Hope you're all enjoying your festivities have a great party season and a Happy New
Year.

Ciao Super Sic - the world of MotoGP is a less exciting and less exuberant place since
the untimely passing of Marco Simoncelli.
We went to the Moto GP a couple of weeks ago and spent 2 days enjoying the best of
motorcycle racing. Victoria did its usual crazy weather thing for us. Sat was lovely,
mostly sunny around 18 and then sunday was cold (very cold) and wet. We spent most
of the day sitting in ski jackets and alternating between wearing a plastic poncho and
drying off. The race was excellent though and we watched Casey Stoner, the home
hero sew up the championship at his home track.
A couple of weeks ago Rich did a charity rowing regatta as part of an 8 man crew. They
did pretty well and finished in the 2nd division. I just spent the day sitting in the sunshine
by the side of the river... terrible way to spend a day.
